Event Summary:

We were invited to the first annual SCIENCEpalooza for our local school district. It was a mix of science fair participants in a separate building and an area in the gym with various booths/activities for all 3rd grade students to experience.

This was the scumballs first “booth” setup for a local event ! Also our first solo educational kind of presentation ! hopefully we inspired some future droid builders. The activity included a demonstration of QDs operation, run down of how to build a droid overall design, paint, RC/electronics, programing and 3D printing! Students received a 3d printed flexi droid for answering questions and the final activity was for them to mock up a drawing or ideas for a droid if they were to build one.

Another highlight was hanging out with the EZTECS! @EZTECSBHS Our local high school

A big thank you to Missy for helping setup and School Board member Yslas for his support.

It was really nice to have a con-like atmosphere for the community kids so close to home.
